The Green Man
The Green Man is one of the most recognizable creatures in mythology. Immemorially ancient, representations of the Green Man can be found in ancient Mesopotamian images. In most depictions, he is semi-human, but upon closer inspection, one can see his features are made of leaves. Wherever he appears, the Green Man represents the natural world, verging on the edge of humanity, but still preserving the wildness of nature.
The Green Man is made of cotton fabrics with a needle-sculpted face and inset eyes. He stands 16" tall to the top of his head piece, on a natural wood base embellished with moss and faux mushrooms. The small rabbit companion is a small floral embellishment. One of a kind.
