From Slavic folklore comes Baba Yaga, a witch who lives in the primeval forest in a hut on fowl's legs. (Imagine how creepy that is - a house that can move!) In some tales, she's evil; in others, she gives aid to the hero of the story. In this way, she embodies both sides of human nature.
Baba Yaga's Hut is made of fabric, embellished with moss and faux mushrooms. Inside is a cauldron which adds eerie red light to the scene. The Fowl's legs are candlesticks, and are attached to a wooden base, about 9" X 7", and embellished with moss, faux mushrooms, silk leaves and real twig "trees". The scene is 23" high to the top of the tallest "tree". One of a kind.
