Tired out after a long day of scattering fairy dust, adding glitter to moonbeams, bringing enchantment to the deep forest and other fairy doings, this little fairy has gone to bed. And what a lovely bed she has! Canopied by a leaf, she's protected from any raindrops. Should it become chilly, she can pull up her lace-edged blanket and sleep soundly, until the rising sun brings the new day.
The Sleeping Fairy on her Canopy Bed is made of cotton fabrics with a painted and sculpted face. Her skirt is made of organza, her hair is a wig of hand-dyed Tibetan lamb, her wings are Angelina film. Her canopy bed is made of twigs, embellished with faux ivy and vines, ribbons, charms and moss. The canopy itself is a quilted leaf; the bed linens are vintage hankies. The bed is about 12" long, 6" wide and 12" tall. One of a kind.
