Medusa is a Gorgon, one of three sisters transformed by the goddess Athena in classical Greek mythology. Her gaze would turn you to stone. She was slain by the hero Perseus, and from her spilled blood sprang the winged horse Pegasus.
Medusa is made of cotton and flocked snakeskin fabrics with a painted and sculpted face, and woolen locks (and snakes) for hair. Her snake tail is weighted to allow her to stand alone. Medusa is about 14" tall, and about 30" long from her head to the end of her tail. One of a kind.
